Family Reunification support

Document preparation

Prepare each family reunification document properly.

Sponsor means the person already in Ireland. Applicants are the family members applying to join them. Use the cards below to check what each person needs to prepare before i2i reviews and builds the final application pack.

Official guidance

Requirements can vary by sponsor type, applicant relationship and visa office. Check the route guidance before final submission.

i2i preparation

What i2i does for your application

Working with i2i gives the case a full preparation process, not just a document upload. We review the facts, organise the evidence and prepare the submission so each applicant has a clean, separated and complete pack.

Full preparation

We review the applicant, sponsor, relationship, immigration history, accommodation and financial position before the pack is finalised.

Individual circumstance consulting

Every family case is different. We look at the route, sponsor status, visa office and family situation before deciding what the file needs.

Financial summary

We analyse bank statements, payslips, verified savings, support from individuals or family and other asset valuations, then prepare a specialised financial summary.

AVATS, VFS and fees

We prepare the AVATS details, guide the VFS booking process and organise the visa fee steps so the application is ready for submission.

Cover and applicant letters

We prepare the cover letter and applicant letter so the case is explained clearly, consistently and in the right order.

Supporting Documentation

We identify missing support, separate the evidence into clean sections and prepare full submission-ready document sets for each applicant.

Attestation

Where attestation, apostille or certified translation is needed, we guide what has to be prepared and how it should be placed in the pack.

Kerala VFS guidance

If applying from Kerala, we personally guide you to the VFS office. For other locations, we prepare full separated submission-ready sets.

How to prepare it+

Scan all pages of all current and previous passports for every applicant and every sponsor. Include blank pages, bio pages, observation pages, visa pages, stamp pages and the back pages. Previous passports should be grouped by person and kept in date order.

Suggested order+
  1. 1Applicant current passport, all pages
  2. 2Applicant previous passports, all pages
  3. 3Sponsor current passport, all pages
  4. 4Sponsor previous passports, all pages
  5. 5Lost passport report if a previous passport is missing
Practical advice+

Do not upload only the bio page. Names, dates of birth and passport numbers must match the intake exactly. If a previous passport number appears on the current passport, include that page within the full scan.
